As a kid, I suffered from overactive planning syndrome. At the start of the school year, I started planning next year’s summer vacation. And on day one of summer, I started planning for the next school year. I made lists about the lists I planned to make and I kept all my master plans neatly organized in a binder. So when my mom (who worked at a Woolworth store in my hometown of Baltimore) brought home my very first Trapper Keeper, it was an adolescent planner’s wildest dream come true.
